And Hainan is now imprinted in my memory as a result of sketching..

Sweet Potato Cart
I love these carts - they also have them in Japan in the winter
and their vendors roam the streets with a warmly haunting call...

Beach Scenes, Hainan

Lifeguard Station on Hainan -
sign says "Save to the Living Station"

Young girls, presumably Muslim because of headresses,
making and selling bead necklaces on the beach.
They weren't shy about sales, but when I got out my camera, they ran away.
