Velomobile- the jury's still out

I was called to jury duty  at the county courthouse in November. There was a lot of waiting. Waiting to hear if there would be a trial, who would be selected for the jury. Plenty of time to sketch my fellow potential jurors as we sat in the waiting room. 

I did rounds of the building . . . the lobby, reception area, outdoor courtyard and coffee stand, returning to waiting room. On one of the rounds I  came upon this . . .

Velorider -- an encapsulated three-wheeled bicycle.

 I spoke briefly with the rider Andy. 

He explained the basics -  it can can go up to 30 mph, stays pretty dry since it has a skirt, like a kayak. It drips a bit, but with the sweat you work up pushing pedals, cool drips are a welcome relief.
