Chalice Well Gardens
Local mythology tells the story that the chalice used in the Last Supper is buried on this site.

The creek at the Chalice Well Garden. Water is red from mineral deposits. Said to have healing properties.

The Chalice was supposedly buried beneath this site giving birth to a spring of healing waters.
I won't vouch for the myth's veracity, but the gardens are beautiful, wel-kept and very serene.

Glastonbury Abbey
Most of what is left from Henry VII's path of destruction is the ruins, which are lovely.

Architectural Model of the Abbey and grounds in it's time.
The first "Green" roof?
